We’ll pick them up at your curb – Call NRWS/NCRWS for pick-up of bulky items. Fees apply for non-metal items, such as dressers, tables, mattresses, toilets, etc. Pickup of metal appliances and large metal items is now free in the City of Napa with the Recycle More program (please note that there is a charge for this service in our Napa County service area). These services do not include hazardous wastes. For larger amounts of bulky items, please consider our recycling or trash debris box service.
Metal appliances and all scrap metal can also be recycled at the Napa Recycling & Composting Facility (820 Levitin Way) for FREE! Mattresses and box springs can also be recycled at no charge at the Devlin Road Recycling & Transfer Facility (889 Devlin Road).
Donate Useful Items – Not all bulky items need to be disposed of and could be useful to someone else. Consider calling a thrift shop, community outreach organization, or placing an ad.
Other Services – Several other businesses provide pick-up or drop-off services for bulky items – mostly large household appliances such as refrigerators, stoves, washers, dryers. Call for prices and restrictions. Below are a few of the many available services, look online or in the phone book under “Recycling” for more info:
