Don't fill your garbage cart with items that should be recycled...With a recycling container that is much larger than that old curbside bin, you can recycle more and waste less! With single-stream recycling, all your recycling goes in one cart!

PAPER	PLASTIC
Cardboard (must be broken down and placed in the cart) Boxboard (such as shoe boxes, cereal boxes) Newspaper Magazines, catalogs & glossy paper Paper bags Paper packaging Egg cartons Milk, juice & aseptic cartons Junk mail Phone books & soft-cover books Envelopes (labels or windows okay) Office paper (all colors) Shredded paper in clear bags PLEASE NO hardcover books, binders, tissues, towels, paper with plastic coatings (such as photographs or label paper), food-soiled paper, waxed paper, foil-lined paper, or Tyvek (non-tearing) envelopes. Click here to recycle Tyvek envelopes. Drop off hardcover books at Goodwill or the Reuse & Recycle Center.	Bottles & jugs All CRV containers All numbers & colors Rinsed & empty, leave caps on All rigid non-bottle plastics, such as: Tubs & containers (e.g. yogurt, margarine) Buckets, pails & crates Toys (e.g. plastic tricycles) Clamshell trays & deli containers Laundry baskets Plant pots (no ceramics) PLEASE NO Styrofoam, plastic bags or plastic film/wrap. METAL	GLASS
Aluminum cans Tin & steel cans Clean aluminum pans & foil Empty aerosol cans Scrap metal (up to 36") Pots, pans & utensils Loose lids from jars PLEASE NO electronic or computer equipment (click here for e-waste options).	Bottles & jars All colors, lids removed Rinsed & empty (labels okay) PLEASE NO window glass, mirrors, crystal, Pyrex, ceramics, light bulbs, or fluorescent lamps/tubes.

Please place all recyclable items loose in the cart
Items outside the cart will not be picked-up
Do not bind or bundle any items
Flatten all cardboard/boxes and place in cart

It's more efficient to roll out your blue recycling cart only when it is at least half full. That saves time, energy and resources for everyone!

RECYCLING CAN SAVE YOU MONEY because your garbage bill is based on the size and/or frequency of your garbage service, and the more you recycle the less trash you have to dispose. Recycling is offered at no extra charge to all businesses and residents in our service area.
