Napa Recycling & Waste Services is sponsoring a CANNED FOOD DRIVE in association with the Napa Food Bank.\nCheck your pantry shelves for non-perishable goods that may be nearing their “use by” dates. Your donation of canned goods helps feed less fortunate individuals, seniors and children throughout the year.\nSUGGESTED ITEMS ARE:\n\nPasta products\nCanned veggies, no/low salt\nCanned fruit, in natural juice\nCanned bean products\nCereal, low sugar content\nOther canned or non-perishable food items\n\nSorry, we cannot accept glass, outdated canned goods, open containers, homemade items, or perishable food. Please empty expired or inedible food into your compost cart.\n\nPlease place your donation in a separate bag or box next to your recycling cart by 6am on your normal service day from September 15-19, 2025.\nPLEASE CLEARLY LABEL YOUR BAG OR BOX OF NON-PERISHABLE FOOD ITEMS.\nOne of our route drivers will cheerfully collect your donation.\n\nIndividuals who would like to support the Napa Food Bank are also welcome to make monetary donations at their office or send tax-deductible contributions to:\nNapa Valley Food Bank\n2521 Old Sonoma Road\nNapa, CA 94558\n(707) 253-6128\nor visit canv.org/food-bank ( https://www.canv.org/food-bank/ )\nThank you for your donation and support of those in need.\n
