Matches

Used wooden or paper matchsticks go in the compost cart. Please make sure they are fully extinguished to avoid fires.

If you have unused matches, soak them in water for an hour before placing them in the landfill cart. Unused matches can spark fires when striking another surface, creating an unsafe environment for waste workers.
