Bedding

Recycle More Program

Free Pickup: Schedule a free Recycle More pickup today for clean and dry bedding like sheets, pillow cases and fleece blankets.

If the bedding is wet or moldy, it needs to go in the Landfill cart. Pillows and comforters are also not accepted on the Recycle More Program and need to go in the Landfill cart.

Are your items still in usable condition? Donate them! Visit our Donation Locations page for more information.

Ways to Reuse

Donate to a Shelter or Sanctuary

Animal sanctuaries, homeless shelters, and women’s shelters often accept old bedding that is still in good condition (i.e. no rips, tears, or stains). The Humane Society and many secondhand stores do not accept it, so check before donating.

Turn Into Drop Cloths

Old linens can be used as drop cloths for messy projects or as slipcovers for items in storage. They can also be cut up into cleaning rags to be used around the house.
