Cannabis Waste

Cannabis businesses can drop off cannabis waste at the Napa Recycling & Composting Facility (fee is the same as that for yard trimmings) – you will receive a cannabis waste weight tag for your chain of custody requirements.  Please remove non-compostable packaging and use compostable materials (yard trimmings, leaves, shredded paper, sawdust, etc.) when rendering it “unusable” for transportation.

Vape pen batteries can cause dangerous fires when not disposed of properly – they must be recycled separately and never disposed of in the trash, recycling or compost.
