Cosmetics

Cosmetics have many chemicals. They are Hazardous Waste. If you can, choose eco-friendly makeup brands that have refillable or recyclable packaging and that have gentler ingredients for your skin and for the environment.

Cosmetics containers that are not empty must go to the Hazardous Waste Facility.

For empty cosmetics packaging that is not accepted in our curbside recycling program, there is a Pact collection bin at Ulta Beauty, 1725 Trancas St, Napa. Please visit pactcollective.org for guidelines.

Otherwise, non-recyclable, empty cosmetics packaging may be disposed of in the landfill cart.
