Paper – Shredded

Place shredded paper in a clear, plastic bag before putting it in your recycling cart.

Loose shredded paper causes a mess in the collection and sorting process, and cannot be captured for recycling due to it’s small size. When bagged, we can pull the full bags of shredded paper aside at the beginning of the sorting process, and then separately open them all to recycle the paper.
